My wife was laid off work due to the pandemic. She has always enjoyed trashy novels and for something to do, she decided to write some short stories. A guy she met online encouraged her saying that she didn’t need a publisher to approve her work. Instead, she could self-publish he said and he could help her do it.
She has spent a small fortune on her own website which he built for her, and she meets up with him at least twice a fortnight to “discuss progress”.
When she was out recently, she left her laptop open, and I decided to have a look at her scribbling. She has never been too keen on me reading what she has written. I have to say I was shocked. She’s never been very energetic or creative in the bedroom but to read some of her stories you’d think she was. One of her characters is a web developer who seems to spend most of his time sh*gging his clients.
Considering she has a business relationship with a web developer, I am highly suspicious that there is more going on than business. The guy is much younger than my wife and up until reading her stories it would never have crossed my mind that she was playing away. Now I can’t stop thinking about it.
Of course, I have asked her if she is having an affair and she told me not to be so stupid.
