Reading polygraph confirms infidelity
A Reading polygraph test was used recently on a husband who was suspected of having an affair. Jade came to us when she suspected her husband Jacob guilty of cheating on her with their neighbour.
The case
Jade recalls how the problem all started when the pair had a new neighbour arrive. Fiona is a single woman and ten years younger than Jacob. She is a personal trainer and enjoys swimming and boxing. Jacob has always been a keen boxer so when Fiona moved in next door, he asked for personal training sessions focusing on boxing.
Suspicion starts
Fiona set up a home gym in her garage during the lockdown and when households were allowed to mix she agreed to train Jacob in her garden. After three weeks of training with Fiona, Jade became suspicious that something was going on between her and Jacob. She found multiple texts one day when she checked Jacob’s phone and they were all flirty. She decided she would spy through their window the next time Jacob had his session, and to her shock she caught the pair sharing what seemed like a romantic embrace. She wasn’t happy with what she had seen and read, and immediately lost her faith and trust in Jacob.
The confrontation
Jade decided to ring her sister to rant to her whilst Jacob finished his session. Her sister agreed that it seemed like shady behaviour on Jacob’s behalf and suggested she booked a lie detector test. The test
Jade booked Jacob a test at our Reading office for the following week and told him when he got home. He dismissed her allegations and said she had nothing to worry about. He agreed to take the test just to stop her from worrying that something was going on. The test showed Jacob was lying. He admitted to Jade that he had been flirting with Fiona and that the pair have shared multiple kisses during his PT sessions. He said he wanted a separation from Fiona whilst he figured out how he felt about it all. Jade is now going to marriage counselling with Jacob and the pair are looking at repairing their relationship.
