Threesome leads to Lie Detector Test in Chelsea

Our client booked a lie detector test in Chelsea when he suspected his wife of infidelity. He was devastated by the results.

Gareth’s Case

After 8 years of marriage Gareth found his sex life was a bit boring with his wife, Leah.  They were both working long hours and sex seemed more like a chore than an exciting activity.

When lockdown, due to the pandemic, happened they had more time to spend with each other at home.  They had made one of their neighbours, Owen, part of their social bubble because he had lived alone since his mother died 5 years ago.

Owen was 22 and 10 years younger than Gareth.  He took care of their pets when they went on holiday and often joined them for meals. He’d never been married and Gareth thought Owen was a little in love with Leah. For some reason the thought of them in bed together turned Gareth on.

The threesome

One evening Gareth suggested to Leah that they spice up their sex life by having a threesome. Leah said she wasn’t completely averse to it but how would they find anyone with Covid restrictions in place.  Gareth suggested they ask Owen.

Inviting Owen over for a meal, they had a lot to drink and asked him if he would like stay the night. Owen said he only lived two doors away so didn’t think it was necessary.  During the course of the evening, Leah flirted with Owen. Over brandy and coffee, Gareth asked Owen if he would like to sleep with Leah. Owen thought that Gareth was accusing him of seducing his wife but Gareth assured him he wasn’t. Indeed if Owen fancied it they could have a threesome.

In the interim, Leah had gone upstairs to change. She came down wearing a flimsy negligee that covered nothing.  Sitting on his lap she began to undress Owen and one thing led to another.  The threesome happened very regularly after that first night.

Threesome becomes a twosome

Several months later, Gareth realised that Leah was spending more and more time at Owen’s house. He wondered whether they were excluding him from the sexual activity. However, Leah denied that they were having sex outside of the threesome.

As more time went by, Owen’s visits diminished and Leah wasn’t interested in having sex with Gareth unless Owen was part of it.

Fearing he would lose his wife, Gareth booked a lie detector test in Chelsea for Leah. He wanted to know if she was having sex with Owen at his house.

Lie Detector Test in Chelsea

It was difficult persuading Leah to take the test.  She was outraged that Gareth didn’t believe her and said if there was no trust, their relationship might as well be over.

When Owen came over the argument was still raging but it was he who convinced Leah to take the test.  This inspired Gareth with a little hope that he was wrong.  If Owen wanted Leah to have the polygraph examination there couldn’t be anything going on could there?

In the pre-test interview Leah told our London polygraph examiner that she had kissed Owen in his house but nothing else. Her lie detector test results indicated deception.

Conclusion

When Leah realised she had failed the lie detector test in Chelsea, she confessed to Gareth that she was in love with Owen and he with her.  She hadn’t wanted to take the test because in her heart of hearts she knew she would fail it.  Owen convinced her to take it because it would bring the matter out in the open.  Neither of them could find the right time to tell Gareth face to face.

Leah has now moved in with Owen and Gareth is alone.  A lesson to be learned from this case is that bringing another person into your sex life can easily lead to feelings becoming involved.  If you are not prepared for that to happen it really is better to find another way to spice up your sexual activity. There are innumerable ways without involving anyone else. Don’t run the risk of losing a person you love unless you can accept the loss.
