We received a query about South West lie detector tests from a wife worried about infidelity. It’s not an uncommon problem in the military whether it turns out to be cheating or paranoia.

Q:  Do you do South West lie detector tests for infidelity?

My husband is in the Marines and has just gone back to work after the Christmas and New Year break. We had a wonderful Christmas with all the family over and it all seemed over too quickly. He’s away now for a few months and I feel really upset. It normally affects me badly when he goes back to work but a few things this year made me feel like he’s seeing someone else.

The problem is that he has cheated before and for the sake of our three children I decided to forgive him and move on. It originally happened at a friend’s stag party and with all the drink involved I thought he deserved a second chance. It caused so many arguments over the following few months and I really hoped we were over it but I don’t think I am.

I think I’m just being paranoid (who wouldn’t be after forgiving him once) but when we were opening presents he kept disappearing and having phone calls in private. He’d be really jumpy when I walked in on him and make an excuse about it being his work, asking him to go back early. The issue is he didn’t go back early, so why the phone call?

WhatsApp

He usually takes his phone everywhere but he left it out when he had a shower and I had a look. There’s a new entry with the name of a girl I don’t know and when I looked in his WhatsApp he’s deleted all history when he’d been chatting to her. I asked him about it and he said she is a new recruit asking him for some advice but if it’s that innocent why would he hide it?

This time I really think I need help. He’s done it before and I would leave him if he’d done it again. The uncertainty of it all is causing me stress and it’s affecting my relationship with my children. Do you do South West lie detector tests?
