Derby polygraph used in infidelity case

A Derby polygraph test recently helped dismiss infidelity allegations for our client. Harry had been accused of cheating on his fiancé Holly and he was tired of the rumours. Here is Harry’s case and how he got the proof he deserved in his case.

The beginning

Harry met Holly on a night out back in 2019. Harry was out for a staff night out, and Holly was out for a friend’s birthday. The pair immediately clicked and Harry asked Holly out for a date just two nights later after exchanging multiple texts.

Suspicion starts

The pair moved in together just a year after dating, and became inseparable. Fast forward to two years later, and Harry says lockdown is when the issue started. Harry became furloughed during the lockdown as he worked for an accountancy firm and had no desperate need to work in the office. However, Holly was a nurse so had to work extra-long shifts and from the hospital. The issues began when one of Holly’s friends said she had called over with a birthday card for Harry and had seen a girl leaving the house. Holly confronted Harry over the allegation and he dismissed it saying no one had been over.

More allegations

Only two weeks later, the same friend told Holly that she had seen Harry out in Derby one evening with the same girl. Becoming increasingly concerned, Holly argued with Harry and was becoming paranoid that he was lying. Holly’s friend who was making the accusations was Samantha. Samantha had been friends with Holly since childhood, and was due to be her made of honour at the couple’s planned wedding.

Time for a polygraph

Fed up of Holly always worrying and blaming Harry of cheating on her, Harry decided to confront Samantha. Samantha came over one evening, agreeing to only speak to him if Holly was present. Samantha still stook to her story that she had seen a girl leaving the house, and then having dinner on a separate occasion with Harry. Harry told both Holly and Samantha it wasn’t true and he had found a polygraph test in Derby that he wanted to book to prove his innocence.

The test

A week later, just Holly and Harry showed up to our testing office in Derby. Samantha was also meant to come to support Holly but said she had contracted food poisoning the night before from a take away so didn’t join the couple. The test results showed that Harry hadn’t been lying. He was innocent and told Holly he was worried that Samantha had been lying because she was jealous of the couple. Holly apologised and thanked Lie Detector Test UK for finding out the truth that the couple deserved. She vowed to never not trust Harry again, and said she would ask Samantha to come and take a polygraph test too. Samantha still hasn’t been in touch with either Holly or our offices.
